Merry Christmas!

Hello All! Sorry that I have not posted in a while, things have just been busy as usual and I have been too tired at night to post. The munchkins are growing so fast and I am amazed at them each and every day.

* Zachary continues to amaze us with his words and loving actions. He is such a sweet boy. He is really enjoying Kids Club at church on Wednesday nights and to hear him say his memory verses almost brings tears to my eyes. I only hope these scriptures remain etched in his heart throughout his life.

* Isabelle "Izzy" keeps us busy. She is what we would call a high maintenance girl and we love her to death. She is by far the opposite of Zach in her demeanor ( I think she gets that from her mother :) She is starting to say more words and we are anxious for the day she will actually say what she wants rather than scream and point. Her brother loves her to death and they seem to play so well together.

* Sarah will be working full time from now until January and is kind of sad about not being home with the kids. She is encouraged that is just for a short period of time. Kids Club and the Praise Team at church keep her busy.

* David remains very dedicated and busy at his work. He is very glad that college football and basketball are on TV at the same time. He helps Sarah out at Kids Club as well and is enjoying playing his guitar in the Praise Band.

** We want to wish all of you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Please remember the reason for the season. Now that are children are starting to grow up we are so hoping that they will realize the TRUE meaning of Christmas. We are going to leave Baby Jesus out of the manger until Christmas Morning and Zachary and Isabelle will place the Baby Jesus in the manger on that day to represent His birth. We are so excited to celebrate that day and so thankful for all the Lord has done for us. If you have a chance to listen to a song by Mercy Me "Joseph's Lullaby" please do so, it will touch your heart and spirit.

Summer Fun!

We had a great summer this year and have jam packed a whole lot of fun into such a short season. I can't believe that it is fall already! We attended a few weddings this summer and then our Gilmore Family Reunion in July in Ocean City, NJ. We had a great time with about 50 plus family attending the whole week and weekend and then ended the time with a Celebration of Mom and Dad being married for 50 years! It was a great time and I am so proud to have parents who have been married for 50 years and have a loving Christian family they have raised so well. It brought me to tears to see them renewing their vows!

We also attended the Higgins Lake Camping Trip this August with our Church and it was a blast again with BEAUTIFUL weather and fun! We had about 150 plus at the potluck on Saturday night and then church on Sunday morning! Zach and Izzy really enjoyed camping and I think Zach and his buddy David must had ridden their bikes 100 miles that weekend! :)

David ran around Mackinaw Island two weekends ago and we had a great time up North as well. David ran at 9:30AM and we did not spend much time on the island because it was damp and cold and it looked like it was going to rain. As soon as we sat down to eat lunch in Mackinac City, the skies opened and it rained like crazy! The night before the race we stayed in a hotel right on the water by the bridge with a great view of the island. We were also right next to Arnold's Ferry doc so Zach had a blast watching the boats taxi in and out. Zach got a horse on the weekend trip and he and Izzy play with it all of the time. When you ask Izzy what the horsey says her response is...."Ha ha ha". It is priceless.

We are looking forward to our final camping trip in the beginning of October in Big Rapids! This will be our first family vacation by ourselves and we are looking forward to making great memories! We love you all and are so blessed to have you in our lives. The kids are doing great and healthy, thank God. We do not thank God enough for all that he has provided!

Love in Him,

Father's Day...

Hi there! I just wanted to write and say thanks to my Dad as well as my Heavenly Dad! I would not have my relationship with my Heavenly Dad if it were not for the Christian example of my own father and mother. I was not always very easy to deal with (and still have my moments) but, I love you Dad and would not want anyone else to be my father. I love watching you as a father and now also as a grandfather. I also can't wait to see you in less than 2 weeks. Thanks Dad!

I have also added some recent pictures of the kids! Life is quite interesting right now and Zachary is being quite trying, but I know that it will get better...it has to! Isabelle is constantly going and almost runs everywhere she goes! Her hair is getting curlier everyday. I am too afraid to cut her hair in fear that I will cut those beautiful curls for good. Have a great week!

Birthday Celebrations!!

I can hardly believe that we have celebrated two birthdays and what a huge milestone for Isabelle turning 1 and Zachary 3. It was a surreal moment for me as we blew out the candles for Zachary and then for Isabelle. We celebrated their birthdays together this year and they both really enjoyed it! We then celebrated Mother's Day and the best part of the day was that I got to take a NAP!!! YEAH!! What an AWESOME gift for Mommy! Both kids are very healthy and doing really well. David is gone from us for this week so I am playing the role of single Mommy this week and I must say it has only been one day and I miss my hubby! The kids are going to be starting a new daycare in the beginning of June and I hope and pray that all goes well with this transition. God has been really good to us and continues to bless us in many ways! Hope all is well with you and please keep in touch!

Spring IS Here!!!!

We are so excited that Spring has finally arrived! The kids love playing outside and their parents enjoy it as well. Zachary is enjoying life and has more energy than I can fathom. I would love just an ounce of it. Isabelle is continuing to grow and amaze us! She is walking and has been for the last few weeks. She LOVES table food over her baby food and is getting into EVERYTHING!! I am very busy and can't take my off of her for a second. We are eagerly awaiting our trip to the Jersey Shore this summer and Zachary keeps asking when we are going. I am currently attempting to plan a combined birthday party for these two munchkins. I can't believe that it has almost been a year since we became a family of four. God has been so good to us and we are so thankful for this. Love and miss you all.

Spring is coming...

Hello all from the Krueger household! Although February is a short month and is almost over, it feels like it has taken forever! The whole household has been sick over the last two weeks and are finally on the mend, thank God. I missed two Sundays and feel so bad and weird for not going, but needed to stay home with my sick family. Then last Sunday we had a terrible ice storm and church was cancelled, I was so bummed. I am determined to get to church tomorrow, no matter what!!

Update on Zachary - he is now fully potty trained and has been pretty much since my last potsing. We are so proud of him and he is very proud of himself, the only drawback is that he wakes me up to go potty at night now and will not let his Daddy help out. Oh well, this too shall pass. He is getting funnier everyday and it still amazes me the things he will say. His new favorite movie is Cars and we get to watch it everday, and only once a day now because he would watch it continuously if we would let him. He loves to go to church and loves to sing! His other favorite thing to do now is play with Playdough! This will entertain him for quite some time...YEAH!

Isabelle Grace - our girl now has her first tooth and I think three others coming in. She finally said Mama today for the first time. She is starting to really babble a lot and it is sooooo cute. She is standing all by herself and thinks that she is cool stuff. She is somewhat sleeping through the night but with these teeth coming in, some nights are not so good. Again, this too shall pass. We just took her 9 months pictures today and it does not seem possible that this little girl is this big already. It is a blessing and a sadness to see her growing up so fast.

David- he is still doing his Body Challenge and has lost almost 4% body fat and is down 12 pounds. He looks like a different man and is quite pleased with his progress in only 4 weeks. I have before and now pictures but I am not allowed to post those. :)

I continue to work 4 days a week and get to spend three days at home with the kids. I am very ready for Spring and the sun has actually been shining for three days in a row which has not happened in a very long time. That is why I labeled this post as Spring is coming, and I can't wait. This past week God has allowed me to reconnect with some friends from my High School Youth Group and it has been so awesome to see where they are today and how much God is still active in their lives. I know that nothing happens on accident with the Lord and I am so blessed to have reconnected with them. This blog land thing and the internet can provide amazing things.

My parents are on their very first cruise as I write this and have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary! How awesome is that!?!?! I am so proud of them and thankful for their wonderful Christian example. All of us kids suprised them a few months back with a Cruise to celebrate them and they did not really know how to respond. My parents being in Ministry all of their lives and currently have never done anything this nice for themselves and we felt that it was about time for them now. When Mom called me from the ship they sounded like two little kids in a candy store and this made my heart fill with joy for them. I only hope that I can be such an example for my little one's someday. Well, it is late and I need to get to bed for the big day at Church tomorrow.

Love to all of you!

Happy Mid-January!

Well, I think that the Michigan winter chill is finally here. It was so cold this morning!! Just wanted to update everyone and let you all know that Isabelle has croup which I am hoping is on its way to being over. She has started on some steroids which have helped somewhat but that cough sure is awful!

Zachary is officially potty trained during the day. YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We are still working on the night time thing and I have a feeling this may take a while to break but at least we have the daytime under control. It has been about a week and he has only had one accident! We are quite pleased and I just can't believe that I am at a stage in my life that this is such an exciting topic that I am posting it on our website. :) I think that I more releived because we will not have to buy so many Pull-Ups that are way too expensive!

One of my nephews is getting married this weekend and this makes me feel quite old since I was 5 when he was born. I also became a Great Aunt (not with the nephew getting married this weekend - just to clarify) and an Auntie in the same week. This makes me feel really old and kinda weird. But both boys are beautiful and healthy and this was what matters the most.

I will be posting some pictures later tonight of Zachary playing in the snow and then some new pictures of Isabelle. I am not sure if I already posted this so please forgive me but Isabelle is clapping now and thinks that she is pretty cool stuff. She loves to sing Patty Cake and If Your Happy and You Know it Praise the Lord! Zach also likes to chime in and sing!

My brother Keith would have celebrated his 49th birthday at the beginning of this month if he were alive. I miss him so much lately and I am not sure why. I am sure that he is watching from heaven as his son is married this weekend. He is also probably glowing with pride of his newly extended family and being a great uncle as well. Sure wish that he was here with us but I would never wish him away from the wonderful place called heaven....

Love to all of you and we hope that everyone is healthy and happy!
